Sales Tax

Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within our resident state. Therefore, all orders shipping within the state of Pennsylvania will be charged the applicable 6% sales tax.

Shipping & Handling (Continental U.S.)

Shipping is normally by UPS Ground, but may also be shipped USPS or Fed Ex. We do not stock everything we sell so some items may be shipped in seperate boxes, by seperate carriers. If you need faster service, email or call us to arrange air service. UPS & Fed Ex does not ship to PO Boxes. If you order an item and give us an address that USPS, UPS or Fed Ex cannot ship to, the item will be returned to us and you will have to pay to reship the product. Shipping is only available in the continental United States. If you need shipping outside of the continental US please contact us prior to ordering.
All items ship with "Indirect Signature Required" (ISR) as a minimum and some higher value items or express items may require a "Direct Signature Required" (DSR). You can ask that Bonehead Performance request "No Signature" (NS) of a package that would normally be "ISR" or a "DSR" order down to "ISR" but Bonehead Performance can not guarantee that the UPS or any other carrier will honor those requests as, often, the final decision is up to the actual delivery person. Items with a value of over $200 usually ship with signature required.

Damage Claims

Bonehead Performance insures every shipment for the full value of the package, so if you receive a damaged product, notify us immediately.

Bonehead Performance must be made aware of any and all discrepancy in your order within 48 hours of receipt. This includes incorrect part numbers, quantities and colors. Bonehead Performance can not file a claim, exchange or replace any item after this 48 hour window. If you wait a month to install your part and realize you have the wrong item, we will not be able to help.

All products are shipped using carrier-approved packing materials and methods. Any visible or hidden damage to the package you receive should be brought to the attention of the delivery person or to the carrier immediately by calling their customer service number for claims. Make sure to get the name of the driver and have him sign off the package as damaged. If you notice the item/s have been damaged after the drive leaves please contact us immediately. Customers are responsible for reporting any damage to the packaging/items to Bonehead Performance within 48 hours of receipt. Please keep all shipping cartons and packing materials that you received with the damaged goods so the carrier can inspect the package based on your claims. Bonehead Performance is not responsible for any package damage claim made by the customer if not brought to our attention within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns, Cancellations & Exchanges

At Bonehead Performance, customer satisfaction is our number one objective. If you receive a product other than what you ordered, your order is incomplete or it is damaged, please CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY and we will work with you to remedy the situation.


New-in-box items may be returned or exchanged up to 30 days from date of shipment, excluding electrical and electronic parts, which MAY NOT BE RETURNED. All merchandise must be unused and in its original saleable package. Items that have been installed on a vehicle, or which for other reasons cannot be resold as new, cannot be returned. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the customer. Call us and we'll give you a Return Merchandise Authorization number, plus specific instructions on how to return the part. Please don't just drop the part in a box and return it to us with no explanation; we will refuse the shipment if it does not have an RMA number written on the outside of the box. A copy of your invoice showing the invoice number must accompany your return along with a written explanation, a contact telephone number and email address where we may be able to reach you. It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the correctness of size and application of all parts before installation. It is the also the customer's responsibility to retain any and all invoices for their record and warranty claims.

1) There will be absolutely no returns on special order items.

2) All order cancellations will be subject to a 10% fee; once an item is shipped it can no longer be cancelled.

3) Returns are for store credit only, NO EXCEPTIONS.

4) All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. If an items packaging is open, item is used, or 30 days have passed since the product was received, the item can no longer be returned.


No warranty whatsoever will be valid if the defect was caused by customer's abuse, negligence, or mishandling. All merchandise sold by Bonehead Performance is only subject to manufacturer's warranty and conditions, if any, and is subject to submission to the manufacturer for inspection and approval for repair or replacement of merchandise. Customers, however, will be responsible for all shipping and handling fees. No labor or inconvenience may be included in any warranty claims. Check your state and local laws regarding the use on any parts. It is the customer's responsibility to retain any and all invoices for their record and warranty claims. Bonehead Performance strongly recommends that a trained professional install all parts. Improper installation of any part may void the warranty (if any) and cause injury or death.

Note: All engine modification components, except those that are exempt, have been designed and are intended for off-highway application. These components are legal in the state of Pennsylvania for racing vehicles only, which may never be used on public roads and highways. Many federal and state laws prohibit the removal, modification, or rendering inoperable of any device or element of design affecting vehicle emission or safety in a vehicle used on public highways. Violation of such laws may subject the owner or user to a fine or penalty. Installation of these parts may void the warranty coverage, if any, on your vehicle. Vehicles modified by the use of performance parts may no longer be lawfully used on public highways.


Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Bonehead Performance shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.  Bonehead Performance shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Bonehead Performance shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Bonehead Performance reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.  Bonehead Performance reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $2000.00 (U.S.) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.

Customer Information

Any customer information including any email addresses received by Bonehead Performance will only be used in connection with your order, and will not be sold, or transferred to any third party. Periodically, Bonehead Performance may wish to communicate with customers via email or electronic newsletter, if for any reason you do not wish to receive email communications from Bonehead Performance, then you may send an email to with "remove from email list" in the subject, and you will not receive any further email communications from us.
